Why Should you take this course?
Would you like to be able to fill your own scuba cylinders? Then you should enrol on a compressor operator course.
The CMAS Compressor Operator course will give you the necessary knowledge and skills to operate a compressor and fill in-date scuba diving cylinders.
What will you learn?
You will be introduced to the theory and techniques needed to operate a compressor. During the practical session in addition to being required to fill 15 clylinders under the guidance and supervision of a CMAS Instructor you will be learn about:
- Compressor pre-inspection procedures
- Filling procedures
- Shut down procedures
- How to correctly complete compressor fill records
How do you get started?
In order to participate in the CMAS Compressor Operator Training Programme you will be required:
- To be at least 18 years of age;
- Be literate (able to read the prescribed Manual and take the assessments which are in English).

As a certified CMAS Compressor Operator you will have sufficient knowledge, skill and experience to operate a compressor and fill in-date scuba diving cylinders.
